Black Mountain was founded by a finance professional who had seen the gaps—and the games—in the lending world.
Behind every deal there was a pattern: ambitious borrowers underserved, misinformed, or quietly taken advantage of by institutions that cared more about margin than outcome. Brokers who vanished after settlement, leaving clients to handle covenant breaches and lender relationships alone.
The industry was built around transactions. We were built around relationships.
